The Multinational Congress on Microscopy (MCM 2027) brings together leading scientists, researchers, students, and industry partners from the European and global microscopy communities to share advances and experiences across all areas of microscopy.
MCM provides a platform for scientific exchange and discussion, spanning fundamental methods and applied research while encouraging dialogue across disciplines within the microscopy ecosystem.

Conference Organizers
The Italian Society of Microscopical Sciences (SISM) is the official host society of the 18th Multinational Congress on Microscopy. One of Europe’s longest-standing microscopy societies, SISM brings together researchers across life sciences, materials science, and instrumentation.
In organizing MCM 2027, SISM is joined by Area Science Park, a National Public Research Centre managing the first and most important multi-sector Science and Technology Park in Italy and hosting advanced research infrastructures. Together, SISM and Area Science Park provide strong scientific leadership and a robust organisational framework for the congress.
